Custom business portals, built in Queensland, Australia
Get your business off spreadsheets and onto a portal you own outright.
We build you one secure place your business actually runs from — replacing the spreadsheets, the desktop program and the trail of “final_v3” files. You pay $599 once. After that the software is yours for life.
Spreadsheets were never built to run a business.
They were built to sit on one computer and hold still. Most small businesses outgrew that years ago — the moment you needed to check stock from home, or a second person needed the same file, or you realised one dead hard drive could take a decade of records with it.
It only works on one machine
Desktop software lives on the computer it was installed on. Away from that desk, you are locked out.
Nobody knows which copy is real
Spreadsheets get emailed, renamed and re-saved until no one can say which file is actually current.
One crash and it is gone
A corrupted file or a dead laptop can take years of records with it, with no way to get them back.
Everyone sees everything
Anyone holding the file can read and change all of it. There is no way to limit what a staff member can open.
What actually changes when you move off the spreadsheet.
| Where you keep your data | Spreadsheet or desktop program | Your QWPA portal |
|---|---|---|
| Works from | One PC only | Phone, laptop or tablet, anywhere |
| If the device dies | The data likely goes with it | Nothing lost, it never lived there |
| Which copy is current | Whoever emailed it last | One live copy, everyone sees it |
| Who can see what | All or nothing | Set per person |
| Adding another staff member | Another licence to buy | Free, add as many as you like |
| What it costs in year three | Still paying, every month | $84 of hosting, nothing else |
Built for your business. Not for everybody's.
Off-the-shelf software has to work for a florist, a plumber and a franchise chain all at once. That is why it arrives stuffed with screens you will never open, settings that do not apply to you, and words for things you do not do. Your staff end up trained mostly in what to ignore.
Yours is assembled from one conversation about how you work. If you do not need it, it is not in there.
Every screen is there because you asked for it
Nothing arrives switched on by default and waiting to be turned off. The portal starts empty and we add only what came out of the discovery meeting.
It uses your words, not the software's
If you call them jobs rather than tickets, or members rather than customers, that is what the buttons say. Nobody should have to translate their own business into someone else's vocabulary.
It fits how you already work
We shape the portal around your process rather than asking you to change your process to suit the software. The point is to remove work, not to add a new way of doing it.
It grows when you do, on your say-so
Need something new in two years? We add it. You are not waiting on a vendor's roadmap, or hoping enough other customers request the same thing.
$599 once. Then the software is free, for life.
Not free for a year, not free until we add a paid tier. You buy the build, and the portal is yours to keep and use for as long as you want it. The only thing you keep paying for is the hosting that keeps it online — and that is a fixed cost, not a subscription that climbs.

~$7per month
Typical hosting
The one ongoing cost, explained plainly
Your portal lives on a server, and a server costs money to run. That is the whole story. The exact figure depends on how much your portal has to do — a simple booking portal costs less to run than one handling thousands of orders — but for most small businesses it lands around $7 a month.
Once your figure is set, it stays set. It is a fixed cost, not a plan that gets reviewed and lifted each year. You will know the exact number before you agree to anything.
What that looks like over five years
Subscription software looks cheap monthly and expensive slowly. Here is the same five years, side by side.
| What you pay | Year 1 | Year 2 | Year 3 | Year 4 | Year 5 | Five-year total |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Your QWPA portal | $683 | $84 | $84 | $84 | $84 | $1,019 |
| Typical per-user subscription | $1,800 | $1,800 | $1,800 | $1,800 | $1,800 | $9,000 |
An illustration, not a quote: it assumes 5 staff on a $30-per-user plan, which is ordinary pricing for small business software. On those numbers you keep about $7,981. Your real figures get worked out properly at the discovery meeting, before you commit to anything.
Hosting is arranged under its own agreement with the hosting provider, so you are only ever paying for what is actually being used. Later changes — a new module, a reworked screen — are quoted per job, so you are never locked into a retainer you are not using.
Built to be used, not admired.
Every portal is judged on one thing: does it save you time and stop something going wrong.
Practical over polished
We spend our time making sure the right button is in the right place, not chasing the latest visual trend.
Built around your business, not a template
We start from a conversation about how you actually work, then assemble your portal from proven pieces rather than starting from a blank page. That is exactly what keeps the price where it is.
Plain and reliable
If it needs explaining, we have usually got it wrong. Your team should be able to open it and know what to do.
Four steps, from first conversation to a portal you are using.
-
Discovery meeting
We sit down together, in person or online, and go through what is slowing you down and what your portal needs to do. You leave knowing the exact price and the exact hosting cost — no estimates, no ranges.
-
Build
We assemble your portal from our existing modules to match that brief. Most of the work is assembly rather than starting from scratch, which is what keeps it both fast and affordable.
-
Prototype
You see and use a working version before anything is locked in, and tell us what is on the mark and what needs to change.
-
Refine or launch
From there, two ways forward:
Refine
Send it back for another round based on your feedback. A non-refundable deposit is payable to begin that round.
Launch
Happy with it as it stands — the $599 is paid and your portal goes live.
